Annie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and has over 15 years experience working as a general specialist occupational therapist. Annie is an active member of Occupational Therapy Australia; a volunteer with DVA National Working Party committee; sits on two sub-committees with the Australasian Lymphology Association; and is on the board for the Health Practitioners Alliance NT. Annie is motivated to enhance the opportunities of her colleagues and improve service delivery for all Australians.

Annie’s special interests are lymphoedema, scar management, driving, rehabilitation and cognitive dysfunction. In her general specialist role, she has extensive experience in equipment prescription including home modifications (simple and complex), specialised garment prescription, and cognitive and functional assessments.  Annie also has extensive experience in a variety of cultural areas and has worked in remote communities to promote independence and function.

Annie brings a wealth of professional and life experience to her work life. She takes a problem solving approach to improve people’s ability to participate in activities that bring meaning and quality to their lives, improve their independence and safety.

In her spare time, Annie is involved with Women in Thoroughbred and is on the Bernborough Committee to raise money for various Territory based charities. She is passionate about her equine sports, time with friends and established dressing up for ‘frock up Fridays’ in the TTS office.
