What types of patients do you see?

We are primarily a neurological and disability based practice – if you are unsure, please contact our administration team and we can let you know if you would benefit from seeing us. We have a full list of conditions on our website including driving assessments.

We see clients on NDIS, workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident schemes, privately funded and self-funded.

Do you provide services outside of Darwin?

Territory Therapy Solutions treat patients in urban, remote and very remote locations of the Northern Territory. Our therapists travel to Katherine, Alice Springs and many remote communities.

Do you see children?

Territory Therapy Solutions usually only see clients over the age of 16; however, there are circumstances, that our therapists may see children below the age of 16 in the Darwin area. This is dependent on the child’s condition and associated need. Our occupational therapists may see children in remote/very remote locations due to the limited services available to them there.

Who is in your allied health team?

Our allied health team is comprised of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, an exercise physiologist and a psychologist. We also have therapy assistants and administration staff.

How do I make an appointment?

Give us a call! We will take some details from you and send you an intake form to complete. When we have availability, we will call you to make your first appointment.

If a doctor, case manager, support co-ordinator has sent a referral on your behalf, we will contact you for an appointment.

What is your wait time for an initial appointment?

Wait time between receiving your referral and your first appointment varies depending on which professional you are seeing and where you are located. Please contact administration for an up-to-date time frame.

Do I need a GP referral to see you?

Not all services require a medical referral; however, this is often helpful to ensure we have the correct information about your medical condition. Driving assessments and lymphoedema assessments do need a doctor’s referral. If you are with the NDIS, a TTS referral form is required from your coordinator of support.

How long are the appointments?

Generally appointments take one  hour; however, there are many factors that affect the duration of therapy. Additional time may be  spent on travel, report writing and administration.

Once we find out your goals and complete an assessment, we will speak with you about a treatment plan, including how long and how often we will need to see you.

Can I claim payments from my private health fund?

Yes, we are registered with all the private health funds; however, you should check with your fund to make sure you have the right cover. We do not use HICAPS for direct processing of rebates. Instead we will provide a receipt that you can use to claim your rebate.

What payment options do you accept?

We have credit card facility and EFTPOS available.

An invoice will be forwarded for all NDIS and workers’ compensation clients to the relevant insurer, your plan manager.

Where do I park?

We have two designated car parks within the Darwin Corporate Park which can be access by entering the Darwin Corporate Park via Jessop Crescent (in between building 1 and 3). Follow the driveway around to building 2 where you will find our designated car parks. We are located through the glass door at the back of the building close to these car parks.

Alternatively, you can enter the Darwin Corporate Park via the Stuart Highway Service Road. Turn right and follow the road around to the carpark. We are located in this building through the sliding doors (main entrance facing Stuart Highway). There are no designated parks in this area.
