Jessica Richardson
Speech Pathologist

Jessica graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2016 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Since graduating, Jess has worked in not-for-profit organisations, community brain injury rehabilitation settings and as a clinical educator for the University of Newcastle in both Australia and Fiji.

Jess has experience working with both adults and children with a wide range of communication difficulties. She has extensive experience in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and is passionate about her clients having access to functional communication. Jess brings unique experience to her clinical practice, in that she is the daughter of a parent who suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2023. This experience has allowed Jess to develop a deep sense of empathy and understanding when working with her clients.

Jess currently works remotely in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and provides speech pathology services face to face in her local area, as well as providing telehealth to appropriate clients in the Northern Territory.

Jess’s bio wouldn’t be complete without mention of her two of her greatest loves – coffee and her two miniature sausage dogs.
