Julia holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) and has over 22 years experience working as an occupational therapist in the public and private sectors. Julia established Territory Therapy Solutions in 2012 and is the Principal Occupational Therapist.
Julia has a special interest in the treatment management of clients with spinal cord and neurological issues in the community setting. Julia is an Advanced Bobath Practitioner for the treatment of neurological movement disorders, is FIM and WeeFIM credentialed and is an OT Driving Assessor for Class C and Heavy Vehicle Licencing.
Julia has received a number of awards including Allied Health Award for Clinical Excellence in NT Department of Health (2006); Northern Territory Occupational Therapist of the Year (2015); and Service Provider Professional of the Year Award (2016).
Julia brings a wealth of experience into each treatment session, along with genuine warmth, care and dedication to improving the lives of those she treats. She has a heart for improving the lives of others and provided occupational services for several years in Nepal on a volunteer basis.
Julia is a mother of three beautiful daughters and is actively involved in volunteering at their school. Julia has travelled extensively and enjoys gardening, camping and spending time with friends in her spare time.
